Endeavouring to use locally sourced materials whenever possible.

We are also experienced in working with all types of reclaimed materials and regularly build or repair using lime mortar in both brick and flint work.

The use of traditional brick and woodworking techniques results in an authentic and sympathetic repair during restoration or the inclusion of a character feature within a barn conversion or new extension.

If required, Hamlet Developments Limited can oversee the complete project management of a contract from start to finish.
We are able to liaise with architects and conservation officers on your behalf and deal with all local authority planning matters depending on the individual clients brief.

Closing an existing opening with traditional brick and flint work.
A newly built fireplace, constructed using reclaimed Norfolk red bricks and lime mortar. The traditional salt hole incorporated into the fireplace along with the reconstructed oak stud partition makes this new interior authentic.
Cart shed extension on a listed barn. Reclaimed oak posts on sandstone plinth's were used to achieve a sympathetic addition to the existing structure.
An example of cut and struck pointing in modern brickwork.
